The School of Psychology at St Andrews is a world class department with a long and distinguished history and excellent modern facilities. There are currently 30 members of academic staff all of whom are research active.

As well as succeeding in the 2008 RAE, the School was in the top category in each one of the previous research assessments. This was an achievement held by only three other departments of psychology, Cambridge, Oxford and York. The School has similarly been graded as ‘excellent(pdf) in each teaching review.
