I am currently investigating the process of spontaneous autobiographical memory (AM) retrieval in healthy older adults and older adults with Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Specifically, I am examining the role of emotions, life themes, and goal structures in those processes through a series of informal interviews, supervised by Dr. Arlene Astell and Dr. Barbara Dritschel.

My research interests include reminiscence across the lifespan, maintenance of the self, and dementia in the aging population.
