Human beings are extremely cooperative in a number of situations. This altruism is interesting to be investigated. Cues related to cooperation and trustworthiness are provided by different sources of information - facial characteristics or behavioural information, reputation, previous experience. In particular occasions this information could be conflicting. My PhD project is focusing on how this conflict is resolved behaviourally and neuroscientifically.
